A K-12 Speech Language Pathologist position is available for the current school year in Spring Lake, NC. This contract opportunity involves working within a public school setting, supporting students from pre-kindergarten through high school across elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-12.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Supervise at least one Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Deliver services onsite Monday through Friday for the full-time role or two days per week with a flexible schedule for the part-time position.
Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Certification in Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in school settings with a diverse student population.
- Ability to work onsite exclusively.
- Flexibility to accommodate varying schedules, particularly for the part-time role serving pre-kindergarten and elementary students.
Work Schedule:
- Full-Time: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from as soon as possible through May 29, 2026.
- Part-Time: Two days per week with flexible hours, focusing on pre-kindergarten and elementary-aged students.
